 Then Let's Clear Out Your Stress From It RIGHT NOW Using

The special procedure used in this exercise is a little different from the normal procedure used in
most of the other exercises. This exercise only requires you to complete ONE step...

You can use this very helpful exercise whenever you are feeling
bothered or stressed by something or someone!



 
 DO THIS FIRST:

Whenever you have something bothering you, or hear something that upsets you...
like some bad news, for instance...simply start counting backward from 8, while you talk about it as though you were having a conversation with yourself.
 
It can also be very helpful for you to repeat reminder phrases. You SHOULD work through all of these examples even if they don't apply to your own situation.

 
Also, wherever you see a blank space in a phrase, such as __________, please fill in the blank with your own appropriate response - if possible.

 

 

What is bothering me (or anything that has bothered me in the past)?
 

I heard this bad/sad news about ________;
 
I just found out that my family is ________;
 
I often worry about how bad the ________ is right now;
 
I really feel hurt when I am criticized about _______;

I was bullied & harassed by ________ again;
 
I keep getting harassed by ________;
 
I was just called ________ by _______;
 
I feel like such a _______ all of the time;
 
I really wish my _______ wasn't so _______;

I feel so stressed out over ________;

I feel so worried about _______;
 
I wish I had a lot more ________;

I really wish my ________ was ________;
 
I really hate my ugly _________;
 
I just heard that my _______ has ________;
 
I am so frustrated because I am not very good at ________;
 
I get so frustrated when I try to ________;

I feel like my _______ is never satisfied with anything I do; 

I just heard that my _______ just isn't good enough to ______;

I STILL feel like my _______ just isn't good enough to ______;

I always feel so irritated when my ________ is being such a pest;
 
I still feel some of this remaining stress from ________;


Please add more bothersome issues of your own to this list.


It is this consistent counting backward from 8, while concentrating on the bothersome issue, that gradually weakens and reduces your stress and anxiety levels down to zero: Repeated use effectively acts to reduce the amount of emotional intensity you're feeling from your troubling issue down to zero feeling. It's highly effective!           
 


Remember....
There simply is NO WAY to do this wrong!

This methodology is so forgiving that you literally cannot get it wrong.
As long as you are back-counting while you're concentrating on an issue, it's working for you!


So, just keep counting everyday! It WORKS!
