Have you ever wondered why it is that whenever
you feel stressed
you get such strong cravings for desserts?
It's because the word "STRESSED"
- spelled backwards, is...
"DESSERTS" |
Just kidding!
Use
PowerCount8
to
Eliminate
Your Cravings For Sweets and Other Unhealthy Foods
(or ANYTHING else you
crave, including cigarettes, texting, video games, etc.)...
DO
THIS:
Whenever you're feeling cravings coming on
for unhealthy foods, simply focus your attention on your desire for
those foods, and
COUNT BACKWARD FROM 8
until you no longer
feel any remaining cravings for those foods.
It can also be very helpful for you to repeat reminder phrases.
If you frequently feel a strong craving for ice cream (or
whatever), you should simply focus your attention directly on your
desire for the ice cream, and count backward from 8 until the intensity of those cravings you're feeling are
reduced enough so that you no longer feel the desire for such
things.
You SHOULD
STILL go through all of these craving examples...even if they don't
directly apply to your own situation.
Keep repeating the
following reminder phrases -- until your cravings no
longer exist...
I feel this strong craving for some chocolate, 87654321
I feel this irresistible craving for that chocolate cake,
87654321
I feel this strong craving for ice cream, 87654321
I feel this intense desire for ________,
87654321
I feel this strong craving to eat junk food. 87654321
I feel this intense craving to eat __________, 87654321
I feel this intense craving to __________,
87654321
I feel this strong craving for a cigarette,
87654321
I keep feeling like I should check my phone for _______,
87654321
I feel this intense urge to play my video game now,
87654321
Please add more
of your own cravings
(OF ANY KIND...including
cigarettes, texting, and even playing video games) to
this list.
Keep repeating this process over, and over...until you can no longer
FEEL any cravings remaining. Remember to take a deep breath, and
exhale slowly after you complete each round.
Of course, this
does NOT mean that your cravings will never return. You will likely
crave
ice cream at another time. At which point, you will just need to
repeat this process again for each future food craving
recurrence.
IMPORTANT:
Since there so often tends to be some commonality between many of
the various negative issues on your lists, you can still gain a
tremendous amount of benefit by counting backward from 8 through EVERY issue example
listed above.
Therefore,
you
SHOULD STILL count through EVERY example I've given you...even if it
doesn't directly apply to your own situation.
Just like when doctors write drug
prescriptions, they require their patients to continue taking ALL of
the pills until they are gone,
because they want to make
certain that you are eliminating 100% of the infection.
So, you too, should always still clear out ALL of the issues in
your exercise lists to make
absolutely certain that the negative issue is no longer an obstacle
in your life!! |

methodology is so forgiving that you literally cannot get it wrong.
As long as you
are back-counting while you're concentrating on an issue,
