What does it mean to be IN THE ZONE?

Have you ever watched a football game where everything appears to be going perfectly for the quarterback?
He is so calm and confident on this day, that he makes every play look easy...without much effort necessary.
Everything just seems to be FLOWING so naturally for him! Doesn't it seem as though he simply cannot possibly do anything wrong during that game?

But then, during the next game, he throws six interceptions, and fumbles the ball away twice! Now, during this second game, doesn't it seems like he simply cannot do anything right??

This is a perfect example of somebody being "in the zone" or "in the flow" during the first game, and then being distracted, nervous, and completely OUT of his zone for the second game.

So, what is the difference between a smoothly flowing day, and a difficult, struggling day?
The difference is:
**EMOTIONAL RESISTANCE**

The amount of emotional resistance you're feeling can create many internal conflicts, thus triggering your
debilitating performance anxiety. Emotional resistance shows up in us as fears, doubts, worries, limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, negative emotions, and outside distractions. And all of them can seriously distract you, just when you need to be 100% focused on what you're doing. However, if you are 'in the flow',
you are typically not feeling fearful or questioning your abilities at all. Your energy simply flows freely, with no obstructions -- just like the water in a free-flowing stream.

Now, what if you could access your 'ZONE' at any time,
whenever, and wherever you needed to?

 PowerCount8 Protocol for

Training Your Mind So You Can Go Into
"The ZONE"
Whenever & Wherever You Need To...

(Also referred to as being "In The Flow")

This PowerCount8 protocol helps you relax and release the emotional resistance and
distractions that are preventing you from being in your own competitive zone when needed.

If you have a competitive event coming up, and you would really like to feel "in the zone" for it,
then I'd strongly suggest that you practice using this extremely beneficial exercise...

                                                                       DO THIS FIRST:

Identify and list all of your outside distractions...

During the next few days or weeks leading up to your competitive event, just as you have already been doing throughout this course, make a list of every negative thought, nervousness, doubt, worry, fear, limiting belief or negative emotion you are feeling regarding the upcoming event.

Then, proceed to focus on each distracting issue, and count backward from 8, until each one of those issues is no longer a problem.

You can also use some simple reminder phrases...
Also, wherever you see a blank space in a phrase, such as __________, please fill in the blank with your own appropriate response.

Examples of Reminder Phrases:

Even though I feel so excited about _______, 8765432 I CHOOSE to feel calm and confident.

Even though I keep thinking about ________,
8765432 I CHOOSE to relax and release these thoughts.

Even though I am worried about _________,
8765432 I CHOOSE to relax and let go of all my concerns.

Even though I often get frustrated,
8765432 I CHOOSE to be a shining example of a great sportsperson.

Even though I am afraid of getting injured,
8765432 I CHOOSE to just relax, and let it go of my _______.

Even though I am feel nervous about ________,
8765432 I CHOOSE to feel completely calm and confident.

Even though I still feel some of this nervous excitement,
8765432 I CHOOSE to feel comfortable with myself.

Then, ask yourself these special Power-Queries:

Why is it so easy for me to go into the zone?

Why am I having such an easy time today?

Why is this ________ so effortless for me today?

Take a deep breath, and exhale slowly after you complete each round.

The results you gain from repeating the above phrases many, many times -- over the course of several weeks
will carry over to the times when you need to be focused the most....during your competitions!

But what if you have a competition or performance going on today?
If you need to be focused TODAY, but there is something that's still distracting you, then concentrate on whatever it is that's distracting you, and start counting backward from 8 until you no longer think about it.

So, whatever is causing your outside distractions, simply focus your attention on those thoughts, and count backward from 8, until they are no longer a distraction for you.

Take a deep breath, and exhale slowly after you complete each round.
Keep repeating this process over, and over, and over...until you feel relaxed, calm and confident (and no longer distracted).

                                             DO THIS SECOND...
In the moments just before you go to compete in a game or competition (such as while you're still riding on the bus, or you're in the locker room), do this:

Tune your mind into your competitive event. Focus your attention on whatever it is you need to be focused on, then start counting backward from 8, while repeating the following phrases...

I am relaxed

I am calm

I am confident

I am completely focused on _______

I am tuned into my _______

I am unstoppable!

Plus, if you're still feeling a little nervous, then repeat this phrase until you no longer feel any nervousness...

Even though I STILL feel some nervous jitters remaining, 87654321 - I completely accept myself!

Make sure you take a deep breath afterward, and then exhale slowly.
Keep repeating this process over, and over...until you FEEL calm and confident, and at peace ---

It is this consistent repetition, while concentrating on the issue, that gradually weakens and reduces your stress and anxiety levels down to zero: Repeated use effectively acts to reduce the amount of emotional intensity you're feeling from your negative issues down to zero feeling. Each round of  whittles away more and more of the negative emotional connection between your brain and your body, so that the negative emotions will no longer have much of an affect on you. And then, we basically "rewire" your brain by replacing that negative emotion it with a purely positive affirmation, which we proceed to 'cement into place' by repeating it over and over and over.

So, just keep counting everyday! It WORKS!
