This exercise is a more ADVANCED version
of the one in Module 1
Experts say, the world's two most powerful words are
"I
CAN'T"
Before we go
any further, I'd like to know the following things from you...
1) What did you
say to yourself this morning just after you woke up?
2) What things
did you tell yourself this afternoon, or this evening?
3) What did you
tell yourself last night, just before you went to sleep?
4) What kinds
of things are you telling yourself right at THIS MOMENT?
If your answers
to these questions are negative in ANY way, then you need to change
your internal self-talk (the things you say to yourself),
IMMEDIATELY!
Now, let me ask you this...
If
somebody close to you kept making dozens of negative comments about
you -- right to your face, everyday, would you really want to keep
that mean person around?
Well...guess what?
YOU are that
person!
The
fact is, human beings have more than 12,000 thoughts per day, and as
many as 70% of those are negative thoughts. Plus, we commonly SAY
many very negative things about ourselves everyday! No wonder there
are so many negative people in the world!
Maintaining a
positive personal self-talk is absolutely essential for achieving an
ongoing positive--winning attitude and mindset!

Here is a Very Powerful

for
Helping You to
Make Positive Self-Talk a Permanent Habit
in Your Daily Life!
After
using this powerful method for just a few days you will begin to see
dramatic changes in the way you think about yourself,
and all other areas of your world!
DO
THIS:
For a few minutes each day,
continuously count backward from 8
while you repeat the following important affirmations over, and
over, and over:
I CHOOSE TO LOVE AND ACCEPT MYSELF - JUST AS I AM!
I CHOOSE TO FORGIVE EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER HARMED ME!
I CHOOSE TO FEEL GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE!
I CHOOSE TO FEEL LOVING AND THANKFUL FOR THE PEOPLE ON MY TEAM!
I CHOOSE TO ENCOURAGE THE YOUNGER PLAYERS ON OUR TEAM!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND MY ABILITIES!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE I CAN DO ANYTHING I SET MY MIND TO!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE I AM DESTINED FOR GREATNESS!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE I DESERVE TO HAVE GOOD THINGS IN MY LIFE!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE THAT I AM A WORTHWHILE AND LOVING PERSON!
I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE I AM UNSTOPPABLE!
It is perfectly
alright for you to change the wording, and add your own positive
phrases if you'd like.
Here are more excellent examples:
Also, wherever you see a blank space in a phrase, such as
__________, please fill in the blank
with your own response.
I choose to be the very best teammate I can be;
I choose to be the best _________ I can be;
I choose to be a shining example of a _________ for the other
players;
I choose to
love the _________ I am becoming -- completely, and unconditionally;
I choose to show respect toward the opposing teams;
I choose to see myself as a strong and healthy person;
I choose to be ready and prepared for every game;
I choose to see abundant opportunities everywhere I look;
I choose to remain optimistic about the future for our team;
I choose to maintain my determination for achieving all of my goals
with this team!
Please feel
free to add more of your own! Remember, there are
NO WRONG STATEMENTS here!
Think about it for a while, what positive thoughts would YOU prefer
to be thinking everyday!
Write them down. And then, drill
them into your subconscious mind by repeating them over and over and over!

Begin repeating the affirmation:

and over.

Then, add some positive "ATTITUDE
OF GRATITUDE" affirmations...

Please feel free to add more positive
affirmations of your own!
Keep repeating this process over, and over, and over, and over, and
over.
Remember to take a deep breath, and exhale slowly after you complete
each round.
Just in
case you're wondering why it is so important for you to accept full
responsibility for yourself...
One of the most common
causes of failure is, the inability to take full responsibility for
yourself and your life. A primary key to achieving absolute success
in your life (as well as in sports)
is having the
willingness to accept 100% of the responsibility for yourself!
The fact is, the people who achieve the highest levels of success in
life are those who
ACCEPT COMPLETE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEMSELVES (they don't make excuses)!
NOTE:
If
you're curious why I am
not requiring you to identify and
list all of your negative self-talk thoughts,
the reason is, since we tend to have thousands of negative thoughts
each day, you would literally be writing
ALL DAY....EVERYDAY!!
Besides, you have already identified and cleared out the anxiety from
many of your stressful issues.
And, you have also replaced your negative beliefs with positive,
life-empowering, beliefs.
Therefore, you should no longer be having so many negative thoughts
or self doubts.
You just need to get into a habit of routinely thinking and saying
positive things about yourself (and others) --- no matter in what
situation you may find yourself. |
Here is a Special Action Challenge Just For YOU:
I'd like
to challenge you to make a personal commitment RIGHT NOW to help
yourself, by starting an ongoing habit of doing this
Positive Self Talk
exercise for
3 minutes every night just before you
go to sleep!
Why am I suggesting that you do this right before
going to sleep?
It's because your subconscious mind (which is many
times more powerful than your conscious mind) is ALWAYS wide awake
and working toward finding solutions to your problems, as well as
improving your life! Therefore, anything you say to yourself just
before sleeping will be directly ACTED UPON by your subconscious
mind. Thereby increasing the positive results you'll
gain from this technique, exponentially.
It is this consistent use, while concentrating on the issue,
that gradually weakens and reduces your stress and anxiety levels
down to zero:
Repeated use
effectively acts to reduce the amount of emotional intensity you're
feeling from your negative issues down to zero feeling. Each round whittles away more and more of the negative
emotional connection between your brain and your body, so that the
negative emotions will no longer have much of an affect on you. And
then, we basically "rewire" your brain by replacing that negative
emotion it with a purely positive affirmation, which we proceed to
'cement into place' by repeating it over and over and over. It's highly effective! |
